The difference is that the Garrett ACE 250 metal detector offers the user more precise settings.

The display has labels that are understandable for novice treasure hunters, such as: coins, relics, jewelry, and metal. Three-tone audio target recognition allows you to identify and distinguish targets made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The model is equipped with a built-in speaker and a headphone jack.


The Model 250's discrimination scale consists of 12 segments, allowing you to turn the desired segment on or off yourself when you decide which target you're interested in. Settings are saved even when the device is turned off.





The depth indicator shows four selectable values: 2, 4, 6, and 8+ inches.


You can adjust the metal detector to suit your search conditions by adjusting the sensitivity from 1 to 8. Pin-Point mode allows you to quickly and accurately retrieve a find from the ground without damaging it with a shovel.
