A professional, universal amphibious metal detector for any type of search: on land, on the beach, underwater, in warfare, antiquities, jewelry, and metal plastic. It's the smallest model in the Equinox lineup, but this in no way affects its search capabilities. It dives underwater to depths of up to 3 meters.
The Minelab Equinox 600 will "belt" most modern metal detectors. It scans the ground simultaneously in multi-frequency mode (Multi-IQ multi-frequency technology), or selectively operates at 4 kHz, 5 kHz, 10 kHz, and 15 kHz. It differs from its larger sibling, the Minelab Equinox 800, only in the absence of two high frequencies, 20 and 40 kHz, and a "gold" mode. Now you don't need to buy another metal detector with a higher or lower frequency—the Minelab Equinox 600 is at least three metal detectors (and one underwater one) bundled together! Multi-frequency technology means you won't think you'll miss anything. Thanks to its frequency range, the Minelab Equinox 600 finds large and small objects at maximum depth.
Minelab Equinox 600 Metal Detector Features
- Multi-frequency or 5 kHz, 10 kHz, and 15 kHz - to choose from
- 6 custom search profiles. Each of the three search programs has two customizable and memorizable search profiles. Save your favorite settings in each mode.
- Built-in wireless transmitter, compatible with WM08 headphones (sold separately).
- Robust, lightweight design allows for long searches in any conditions.
- Waterproof, fully submersible to a depth of 3 meters.
- Bright, clear LCD display with numerous target indicators.
- Easy, intuitive operation, quick one-button switching of frequencies and search programs.
- Optional accessories: Minelab 6", 15x12" search coils, Coiltek coils, and WM08 headphones.
Multi-IQ technology dramatically increases the depth and stability of detecting targets of any size in any soil. It ignores ground interference and provides high stability in water. Salty sea.
Thanks to its high recovery rate, which is especially important when working in scattered areas and pinpointing the most accurate targets, you won't miss all the colored targets and can see and hear them among the debris.
With the Minelab Equinox 600, you can master all elements, whether on land or in water. The metal detector can be fully submerged up to 3 meters deep. It is equally comfortable when searching on land and underwater—in other words, amphibious.
All this, combined with a large, waterproof 11-inch DD Smart coil, gives the Minelab Equinox 600 equal detection in all search conditions, both on land and underwater.
The modern design and ergonomics, the ability to charge from any USB device directly on the receiver, the high response speed and excellent selectivity, and the wide range of functions, all make it accessible to both beginners and professionals.

Control of the Minelab Equinox 600 is optimized and can be performed using buttons without leaving the device's main menu. The factory-provided search modes are a "plug and go" principle: "Park," "Field," and "Beach." In addition, it is possible to make changes to the settings of each mode, creating your own unique search mode. Despite this rich array of functions and features, the settings are easy and intuitive to manage.
The central monochrome LCD screen displays the VDI numbers and discrimination scale, an icon for the selected search mode, an indicator for the battery charge status and the wireless audio device (if equipped), sensitivity, target detection depth, and a number of other indicators and settings. With just a few clicks, you can change the search mode or customize your own discrimination mask patterns, altering the operating frequency and sensitivity, threshold tone level, and audio identification tone.
Search Modes:
No. 1. Park. Recommended for detecting jewelry and artifacts in areas with high debris content. Incorporating the "Multi-Frequency" mode contributes to better detection of coins and jewelry.
No. 2. Field. Recommended for detecting jewelry and artifacts. Using the "Multi-Frequency" mode will allow the user to find targets of a wide range of sizes.
No. 3. Beach. Recommended for searching on dry or wet sand and underwater. This mode only works in "multi" frequency mode.
The EQUINOX 600 has 5 frequency search modes: 4 single frequencies of 4, 5, 10 and 15 kHz, and "multiple" frequencies of 5 to 15 kHz at the same time.
